Oli ehkä maailman paras idea lähteä Zanzibarille low seasonin aikaan; koko Jambianin rannalla max. 50 turistia, alhaset hinnat ja rauhaa. Neljän päivän miniloma valkosella hiekkarannalla ja turkoosin meren äärellä oli rentouttava, juuri sitä mitä kaipasinkin. Bussikyyti (dala dala = katettu lava- auto) Stone Townista saaren halki Jambianiin oli hauska kokemus, kun parhaillaan lavalla istui 32 matkustajaa. Matkatavarat kulki huolettomasti katolla ilman sitomisia tms. Jambianissa snorklaus delfiinien kanssa sekä snorklaus riutalla oli huikeeta! Stone Townin Prison Islandilla moikkailtiin jättiläiskilpikonnia. Kalaruoat oli älyttömän hyviä! Söin mustekalaa, hummeria, kalmaria ja jättiläiskatkarapuja. NAM!
Nyt yks yö Stone Townissa ja aamulla lento Nairobiin.

Oh, what a vacation!
It was maybe the best idea ever to go to Zanzibar during the low season; maximum of 50 tourists at the Jambiani beach, low prices and peace. Mini vacation of four days at the white beach and torquoise sea was relaxing, just everything what I needed. The way from Stone Town to Jambiani to the other side of the island was fun. In the bus (dala dala = a pickup truck)There was 32 passengers in the pallet and all the bags and other stuff were on the roof. In Jambiani snorkling with the dolphins and snorkling at the reef was amazing! Back in Stone Town we went to The Prison Island to see some giant tortoises. Also the fish foods I ate were amazing! Octopus, and, and calamari, and lobster, and giant prawns. YUM!
One night in Stone Town and a flight to Nairobi departures in the morning.
